Boundary Space has two complementary sides; a design studio and a delivery consultancy. Working together or apart, both follow one philosophy:
Considered design. Exacting execution.
Our Original Architecture & Interiors studio creates finely crafted spaces for private clients. These are projects defined by clarity, restraint, and a deep respect for context; whether that’s a historic townhouse in West London or a new country estate shaped by landscape.
Our Technical & Delivery Consultancy works with world-renowned interior designers to help realise their vision in the UK and Europe. We act as technical partners and executive architects, translating complex design schemes into fully resolved, buildable projects without compromise. From acoustic integration to stone detailing, we bring precision and control to every stage.
Graeme Martinow and Thomas Furse-Roberts founded the practice with a shared aim:
to take a more considered, intelligent approach to residential design.

Architecture, engineering, and design run deep in Thomas’s family. With a brother in landscape architecture, a grandfather and uncle who were both architects, and a number of artists and sculptors in the wider mix, design was something he grew up around.
After briefly exploring art history and theatre design, Thomas returned to architecture — working at several leading high-end residential practices where he collaborated closely with some of the world’s most respected interior designers. That experience shaped his approach, eventually leading him to establish his own practice.
Outside of work, Thomas continues to draw, paint, and design furniture — keeping one foot in the making process that started it all.

Graeme has an obsession for maximising the flow, rhythm and harmony of architectural designs and interior layouts as well as helping navigate projects through Planning and technical hurdles. He is partial to a wee dram of whisky and occasionally leaves London for a house in the Scottish highlands for some thinking time. An ARB registered Architect, Graeme is also an Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS).
